The official Beatles released 13 studio albums from 1963 to 1970. The following is a brief “review” of each of these 13 albums. From my point of view, as a real-Beatles fanatic in each of these albums should be a part of your collection. But there are certainly some albums that are more essential than others.
Please Please Me (1963) - The Beatles album quite a few great songs on them, including the title track, the opening of the runway “I Her stand, and the Cover” Twist and cry, “but also has a much higher percentage of clunkers that most Beatles albums. indeed, I would say at least half of this album is not just good. It is interesting from a historical point, and sometimes even very pleasant to hear, but I would be probably one of my latest albums, if I come in the Beatles.
With The Beatles (1963) - The Beatles second album contains some beautiful songs, but it is fairly widely oubliables Beatles standards.
A Hard Day’s Night (1964) - The Beatles third album, if it really started, at their own expense. During his first two albums each original only 8, A Hard Day’s Night is nothing but Lennon / McCartney originals. It contains some of the best early Beatles Pop-Rock N Roll and music. If you’re more in his first pop songs, then it can be a great album to begin.
Beatles For Sale (1964) - I think yes, this album is a little underestimated, but it is certainly a step backwards from A Hard Day’s Night. It includes 6 covers most oubliables. But the originals are very nice. “I am a Loser” and “Every Little Thing” are among the highlights.
Help! (1965) - It was another step forward. These are some of the biggest success of Beatles songs, including the title track of “Help!” Ballade and the legendary “Yesterday”. “Ticket to Ride”, “I have not seen a face” and “You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away” are also among the highlights of this album. It is an excellent album with a few steps to miss ( “Dizzy Miss Lizzy” and “act of nature” are both terrible, which was not included on the album).
Rubber Soul (1965) - A huge step forward. If the first use of a sitar to the west of Pop-record “Norwegian Wood” may be the favorite song on the album. Rubber Soul includes a large number of the greatest Beatles songs like “Nowhere Man”, “In My Life”, “Girl”, “Michelle” and “I’m worried about you.”
Revolver (1966) - Even with the leap forward. The Beatles grew at an incredible rate in recent years. From “I Want To Hold Your Hand” to “Tomorrow Never Knows” in 2 years? Are you badinez me? Absolutely mind blowing. One of the greatest Beatles albums. There are no weak songs. Many believe it is very Beatles best album.
Sgt Pepper (1967) - It’s hip now to say something that Sgt. Pepper is overvalued. But it will not. It is really incredible album. I think every song on this album through and through listening pleasure. They are all essential to my eyes. Including the closest of all time album, “A Day in the Life”.
Magical Mystery Tour (1967) - This was the Beatles in their targeted “psychedelic”. For me, this is a good thing. It contains a series of The Beatles incredible psychedelic masterpieces “I am the walrus” and “Strawberry Fields Forever”.
The White Album (1968) - My favorite Beatles album. Furthermore, it is undoubtedly good to begin with. It is probably the same for the first time a large audience. It is not as consistent as Sgt. Pepper or Revolver, but for me it is even more interesting endless. There are also many styles of music on this album and my ears, they are all perfectly.
Yellow Submarine (1969) - probably the least Beatles album of paramount importance, because only four songs, which are not somewhere else. But these four, two songs are really beautiful “Hey Bulldog”, especially as very “It’s All Too Much”. I always recommend in 1999 Yellow Submarine Songtrack, because it replaces accompany rather boring “film music”, a large part of the Yellow Submarine album Remix, remastered versions of several of the largest business Beatles.
Abbey Road (1969) - perhaps the Beatles, most “modern” resounding album as it was really the last album, and alone at the time Runway 8 new machine recording Abbey Road Studios. Y is the second page astonishing forth and some of his most famous songs such as “Here Comes the Sun”, “Something” and “Come Together”. Probably a fairly good debut album, if you start with The Beatles.
Let It Be (1970) - Let It Be was done before the Abbey Road ad acta, but had been done for the Beatles dissatisfied with the shooting. Although it is often regarded as something of a disappointment compared to other Beatles albums, which is incredible really quite ridiculous, if one title on the list and see that they absolutely Killer songs like “Let It Be “,” Get Back “,” I ‘ve Got A Feeling “,” Across the Universe “and” Two of Us. “Let It Be has a feeling of relaxation more funky, like any other Beatles album . Let It Be … Naked will probably be a better list of titles but I think they “cleaned” The Sound too, the original of the “fuzzy logic” of his was part of his charm and better adapt songs .
